He's your friendly neighborhood balloon twister!

 

Hi there. As you may have read earlier, I'm James. Sometime in mid-2009, on a whim I picked up a balloon animal starter kit at CVS. It had 25 terrible balloons, a terrible pump, and terrible instructions on how to make a dog (that turned out quite terrible). After many pops, I had a fantastically lop-sided dog. After that, I went online and continued learning. The majority of what I know after that first dog I learned from YouTube. When I ran out of balloons, I ordered more. I started realizing I was pretty good at this crazy art form and more over, loved doing it.

It was just a hobby for a while. Occasionally, I would busk at a few farmer's markets but still had my job in IT during the week. After a while, I decided I had had enough of sitting at a desk 40 hours a week (11 years of it, to be exact). I began entertaining in this medium full time and have been doing it ever since. What started as a hobby turned into a passion and I've been able to turn that passion into a career. I try never to forget how incredibly lucky I am to have been able to do that.
